Last week you ought to have received by email the priority booking form for the public events programme here at the RA. Of particular interest might be this discussion about sitting for Lucian Freud. Freud spent seven months painting a portrait of art critic Martin Gayford. The resulting book recounts their conversations and gives a rare insight into the artist’s working practice. Gayford previews his book with David Dawson (Freud’s assistant and photographer) and Dr Richard Cork. Gayford will be signing preview copies after the discussion.
